Just got another e-mail from my mom.
Jared continues to fight for his life and continues to be in serious condition in ICU. He has developed pneumonia, but the doctors are not as concerned about his lungs as they are his brain and heart functions. They expect him to be in ICU at least one more week maybe more. The CAT scan from yesterday does show some decrease in swelling on his brain, which is good. April is very aware that this could be a very long road, but she would easily accept that challenge to have her son, needless to say. Please continue to pray for Jared; that God in His wisdom would heal him. And for their family; that God would put a hedge of protection around this family from Satan.
