Carving Pumpkins
Tonight, I went and picked out some pumpkins for us to carve! We had so much fun. I LOVE carving pumpkins..we have tried to do it every year, but now that we are married, I am going to make it a tradition! I picked out a cat and Matt picked out a "haunted house". They both turned out really good! I was very surprised with our carving skills. haha But, it was very fun and we enjoyed doing it together. Here are some pictures!

Little Moments
Tonight, I had my ipod on shuffle and the song "Little moments" by Brad Paisley came on. I have never really thought too much about that song before, I really like it, but never really listened to the words. As I sat there, I started to listen to the words.."Yeah I live for little moments, when she steals my heart again and doesn't even know it. Yeah I live for little moments like that." The whole song is so cute..But it made me think about all the "little moments" in life. Sure, I can name tons of little moments in my life, and I am sure there will be many more to come. But, I will share one that I will remember forever.
Two nights before our wedding, all of our family had come into town. We went to a couple different hotels saying hello to everyone. When we were done visiting with family, we got in our cars and went to our separate houses. About 15 minutes into my drive home, the radio was on country. The song "Then" came on, which also happens to be by Brad Paisley. :) This was the song we were going to dance to at our wedding, so naturally, I called Matt to tell him to turn his radio to that station. When he answered he immediately said, "I know, I'm listening". (We have a weird connection with this kind of stuff..If you know us, we have lots of these moments) Anyways, as soon as he said that I started to cry. It got really quite on the phone and he asked, "Are you crying?!" "NO!" I said in a squeaky voice. He then said, "I love you"..which made me cry more...then came the "little moment" I will never forget. "You wanna know a secret?", he asked. "I'm crying too."
I get teary eyed every time I think about it..and it is a moment I will always remember
I hope you all cherish the "little moments" in your life that make you smile, or cry..They are what makes life so special and fun :)

Weekend in Lubbock
This past weekend, we spontaneously made a trip out to Lubbock! We left Friday around 1:30 and got to Lubbock around 6. We met up with our friends Lindsay and Sean and went to the Boys II Men concert and then out for dinner. It was so good to catch up with them. Saturday, we went to the Texas Tech vs. New Mexico game. This season has been "not that great", but we don't care..We love our team no matter how they are doing. (Even though it can be very frustrating at times!) They won the game Saturday though. It was a fun game and it was so good to be back in Lubbock. We met up with Matt's sister Ashlye before the game and ate at our favorite restaurant, "One Guys". They have the best pizza and calzones. The game was a little rainy, but we had pretty good seats, so it wasn't bad.
Here are a few pictures from our trip
